Kogi @ 31: CMD Kogi Specialist Hospital Says We’ve Never Had It So Good, Felicitates With Kogites.

The Chief Medical Director, Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Prof. Isah Adagiri Yahaya, has felicitated has congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello and the good people of Kogi State on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the state.

The CMD described Gov. Bello’s unprecedented achievements as making him the Architect and builder of modern Kogi, said I’m not surprise,

In a statement made available to journalists, he notes that Governor Bello has taken physical infrastructure, human investment, health care, education and agriculture in the State to a whole new level, described the Governor as a blessing to the State.

The CMD particularly acknowledged the outstanding performances of Gov. Yahaya Bello in the support of the health sector, praised him for the good tidings he has brought to the State as unprecedented since creation, described him as most performed Governor in the State history.

While he acknowledged how far Kogi has come in the comity of states in the country, noted that the administration of Gov Yahaya Bello has built Kogi State on the legacies laid by our heroes past, said with the State Specialist Hospital in Lokoja, Okene, Gegu beki, Ajaokuta and several others scattered around the state, the State he pointed out has never had it good.

“This year’s anniversary is remarkable given the way we have surmounted our challenges and utilized our opportunities” the CMD disclosed.

“Gov. Bello’s unprecedented leadership has improved the quality of life of citizens and residents of Kogi. I therefore join millions of Kogites to commend the architect and builder of new Kogi for the progress so far made in turning around our health sector.” he added

“As the State marks its 31st year, on behalf of the Management and Staff of Specialist Hospital Lokoja and people of our dear State, I wish the State a new dawn of greater possibilities.” the statement said.

He urged Kogi citizens to maintain a peaceful co-existence and continue to be good ambassadors, stressing that no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of rancour.

Kogi State was created on August 27, 1991 during the Military government of General Ibrahim Babangida.
