Gov. Bello’s investment in education unprecedented since creation of Kogi State – Hon. Wemi Jones


 

The Kogi Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, has charged the graduating students of Faith Academy Academy Lokoja to be disciplined, dedicated, focused and self-reliant.

 

Hon. Jones described investment in the education sector under Gov Yahaya Bello in the State as one has surpassed that of past administration since creation.

 

 

The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones, FCIB gave the charge on Saturday during the graduation ceremony of Faith Academy Academy Lokoja, restated the present administration’s commitment to making education a top priority.

 

The Commissioner stressed that the administration of Governor Bello is very desirous in developing education in the state, stating that the GYB Model Science Secondary and several new development has placed the Governor on a high pedestal.

The Commissioner praised the Governor for his quality touch in Infrastructure in the education sector in the state, noting that the upgrade has given public education a comparative advantage over private sector schools in the state.

The Honorable Commissioner advised the students to take their academic seriously as education is the bedrock of the society that can be bequeathed to future leaders.
