EJEH OFU URGES MUSLIMS TO USE EID IL KABIR TO PRAY MORE FOR NIGERIA


 

The Ejeh Ofu and Chairman, Ofu Local Government Area Traditional Council, Alhaji Akwu Obaje has enjoined muslims to pray more for Nigeria as they mark Eid Il Kabir.

 

Alhaji Akwu Obaje made the call while speaking to newsmen on the Sallah celebration at his Country home, Ejule.

He noted that though Nigeria has continued to move forward, the security challenge has become a thing of concern to all.

He felicitated with Muslims on the auspicious occasion, saying that they should use this period to show greater love, tolerance and sacrifice as shown by the prophet.

According to the Ejeh Ofu, no society grows beyong its level of peace and unity, hence all hands must be on deck to make Nigeria a better Country.

Alhaji Akwu felicitated with the government and people of the state as they mark Eid Il Kabir and prayed that God will answer their supplications.

The Paramount ruler expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for a seamless administration and development projects across the state.

The Ejeh Ofu particularly thanked the government for the reconstruction of Ogidibeje, Ejule, Idah road, describing it as a landmark achievement.
