Women have been charged to strive and support their various home by involving in trades that can earn them a living.
There new Iye Akuma of Igala land, Chief (Mrs) Memuna Opaluwa made the charge while speaking with Newsmen in Idah.
Chief (Mrs) Opaluwa who attributed laziness on the part of women to failure and divorce in many homes also state that no home can succeed without the support of a vicious woman.
Iye Akuma who’s position in Igala land is a Mother to all Igalas at home and in diaspora, stressed that she can perceive sound of abundance of blessings and preservation for all and sundry.
In her words,”All the lost glory of Igala Son’s and Daughter’s shall be actualized during this present reign of His Royal Majesty , Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa the second.
She prayed for bomper harvest for farmers for the year and prophesied that barrenness shall be a thing of the past for all .
She however warned against enemity and adviced that we put it off, forgive all so that the perceived blessings will not pass us by .
Also speaking, chief Mrs Rekiya Abuh , former Supervisor for Health and initiator of Council for Women Society in Kogi State implored women to rally round the Iye Akuma and give her the support needed to succeed and to develope all the nook and crannies of Igala land.
Chief Rekiya Abuh, Iye Ebule igalaogba said that Iye Akuma is full of activities which cut across care for women, children, widows, orphans, less privileged and beeding of women with chieftaincy tittle.
In her contributions, Chief (Mrs) Joan obaje commended the Attah Igala —amideeju for finding Iye Akuma , chief Memuna Opaluwa worthy to serve and ensure that women have a place in the present reign of Oguche Akpa lineage.
Chief (Mrs) Obaje , the Omiakele Attah Igala pledged her unalloyed support to corporate with the Iye Akuma to ensure a peaceful reign for the Attah.
