Hon. Sunday Karimi, All Progressives Congress Kogi West Senatorial District Aspirant gave the assurance at the weekend when he received a group of Lokoja APC women stakeholders on a courtesy call on the eve of the just concluded APC National Convention held in Abuja.
The former lawmaker described women as a veritable tool in the socio economic development of any nation.
He promised legislation if elected that would propel women of the district occupying their pride of place in the scheme of things.
Hon Karimi Sunday described the APC as a party that values women, said his whole essence of representation would be to make the Kogi West Women self independent and reliant.
He said over the years he has empowered the girl child, women and youths, said if the opportunity present itself again, he would do more than he has done in the past.
