BAUCHI STATE VISIT!!!
The first female president of the National Association of Kogi State Students’ (NAKOSS) Comr. RACHAEL Mojisola Balogun (RMB) has in her synonymous attribute of giant stride endeavors extended her solidarity and welfarism visit to the indigenous Students of Kogi State studying in far north of Bauchi state.
The NAKOSS National President in her magnanimity and dedication to the *#KogiStudentsFirst agenda* and prioritizing the welfare of Kogi state within the nooks and crannies of the federation has through the ongoing *NAKOSS PRESIDENCY SOLIDARITY AND WELFARE TOUR* recently extended her kind gesture and fellowship to Kogi Students in higher institutions of learning across Bauchi state.
On arrival to Bauchi state, the NAKOSS President and her team was received in grand style by the Special Adviser on Youth and Students Affairs to the Executive Governor of Bauchi state, alongside the National President of the Bauchi state Students Union.
On the first day of the visit, representatives and leadership of the Kogi State indigenous Students across all institutions in Bauchi state, ably led by Comrade Mutari AB. (The NAKOSS President, ATAP chapter) converged at the Abubakar Tatar Polytechnic Bauchi for a meeting with the NAKOSS Presidency (National) where the agenda for visiting the state and the modalities of operations were discussed and action plan implemented.
Thereafter the president and her team meet with the Congress of Kogi State indigenous Students (NAKOSS ATAP chapter) to execute the main purpose of the solidarity and welfarism visit. The meeting was a progressive and productive one where all issues concerning the Students development and welfarism were discussed and notable impacts made.
The President also with the support of the Bauchi state Students Union president meet with the school Management to secure a formal registration of the NAKOSS in the institution. The NAKOSS-ATAP welfare purse was lunched and the NAKOSS Presidency made a handsome donation to support and aid proper welfare for all members of the Congress.
Also, other institutions e.i Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, and state University and colleges of Education were visited and the solidarity and Kogi Students welfare agenda was successful executed on all campuses in the state.
— in the words of Comrsde Mutari AB. It is worthy to note that this is the very 1st visit of the NAKOSS Presidency (National) to Kogi Students across campus of higher institutions in the state. The is record breaking endeavor and it is worthy to be celebrated.
On the third and fourth day of the NAKOSS Presidency visit to Bauchi state, the Students community of Bauchi state comprising of the Bauchi state Students Union, NANS JCC Bauchi state, National Youths Parliament Bauchi chapter and the coalition of Students stakeholders Bauchi state as ably led by Comrade Mahmud Abubakar GH, had a round table meeting with the NAKOSS Presidency (National), to discuss the second agenda of the visit with is anchored on the Kogi State Governor, HE. Alhaji Yahaya Bello Presidential aspiration.
During the cause of the meeting, the NAKOSS President, Comrade Rachael Mojisola Balogun pitched the *Student Agenda for Yahaya Bello, (SAY Bello)* struggle to the college of Students and youth stakeholders in the state, and was blessed with the solidarity, support and productive commitment of the leadership college.
There after, the leadership of the Bauchi state Students/ Youths and the NAKOSS team payed a courtesy visit to notable stakeholders in the state do discuss and solicit support for the *Nakossites in Bauchi State.*
Amongst those visited are the Deputy Speaker of the Bauchi state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danlamo Ahmed Kawule, the Honorable commissioner for Local governments and chieftiancy affairs, the representative of the Honourable commissioner for Education, The Chairman and board of directors Bauchi state scholarship board and so many other notable political stakeholders in the state.
The outcome and progressive results of the visit are numerous and was indeed a blessed and worthy endeavor.
Indeed we want say Kogi Students interest and welfare is secured, no matter how far away from home.
And also the propagation of the Yahaya Bello Presidential aspiration by the NAKOSS knows no bounds.
We can only pray for manifestations of the better days we pray for as Students, as a community and as a nation.
The NAKOSS Presidency has proven to be committed to cause and without borders, fear or favour, with a high spirit of service, optimism and dedication.
This is exactly the way to go.
