A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Kwara State, Pastor Engineer Sunday Adebayo Babalola has felicitated with a member representing Balogun/Ojomu in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. (Prince) Saheed Olalekan Adekeye Popoola on the occasion of his 51st birthday anniversary.
Babalola (FIMC, CMC, FCP) in a statement on Tuesday described Popoola as a diligent man who has a great commitment to the service of the people.
Babalola said, “I felicitate with my dear brother and one of the topmost voices in the accomplished Kwara Liberation Struggle, Hon. (Prince) Saheed Olalekan Adekeye Popoola on the auspicious occasion of his 51st Birthday Anniversary on the terrestrial divide, today Monday 17th January 2022.
“Hon. Saheed Popoola, you diligently paid your dues and sacrificed a lot to bring about the cool breeze of the liberation our dear Kwara State is currently experiencing. During the journey which finally gave birth to the Kwara of today, your focus was to see our people free and you were highly committed to the project. Since time immemorial, you have shown yourself as a political activist who always pitches tent with the truth, no matter the situation. This you have done since the beginning of your political career as Secretary of Offa Local Government. You further intensified on that noble ideology while serving as Executive Chairman of Offa Local Government, and till today, you did not compromise on what defines you. You stand out in the current 9th Kwara State House of Assembly which you are one of the 2 most senior and most experienced legislatures.
“Ifokanbale as you are fondly called, you have encountered a series of tribulations, despite all the adversities, you yet didn’t bow to intimidation or pressures! My brother, I congratulate you for being a worthy man.
