… felicitates with Gov. Bello, calls for prayers for Nation, Kogi State.
Hon. Sunday Karimi, two time member of the House of Representatives, has felicitated with Christians in Kogi State particularly with APC PDP Members in Kogi West on the occasion of the 2021 Christmas celebration, noting that the season signifies hope for mankind.
Similarly, Hon. Karimi, who represented Yagba West, felicitated with Gov. Yahaya Bello on the occasion of Christmas, commended the peace and tranquility the State is enjoying.
He called on citizens to remain optimistic, believing that Nigeria’s trying phase would not last for too long, promising that soon succour will come the way of the people.
In a statement he issued to Newsmen, he urged citizens to emulate God’s love to mankind and replicate same to their neigbours during the season.
He also noted that although, the holiday season was a good time to spend time with family, friends and loved ones sharing happiness; it should also be for sober reflections and a time of prayers for peace, unity and togetherness of our beloved country.
He further expressed joy with the citizens of the state for being able to witness yet another Christmas period, noting that despite several hurdles faced individually and collectively, God Almighty has ceaselessly shown His boundless mercy and love to mankind.
He noted that over the past months, the experience has been challenging, but thanked God for the relative peace and tranquility owing to the Prayers of the people, said despite setbacks experienced, there is hope if the people remain unwavering in the cause of praying for a better State and nation.
The former Lawmaker stated that as the year comes to a close, Christians all over Kogi West should mark the significant day with so much joy and excitement as there is hope for a brighter future.
He urge the people not to cease to preach the message of peace and good neighborliness as they set to enter the New year assurring that 2022 would be a great year.
He admonished that the seasons as Christmas should not pass without people engaging in good gestures to the less privileged by sharing gifts and materials to the needy and being kind to everyone around them, nothing that such act would promote love and peaceful co existence amongst the citizens.
