The Forum of Former Political Office Holders in Kogi State have joined in celebrating with the Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.
According to a statement issued and signed by Dr Abdulsalam Bawa Dangana, former Special Adviser to the Governor on legislative matters, described the Commissioner for Finance as a jolly good fellow, dependable and reliable.
The forum in the statement described Asiwaju Idris as one of those rare beings who believe in doing the work of Gov Yahaya Bello in totality instead of seeking respect here and there.
The Forum added that ” You have proven the statement right that respect is earned not asked. Your Financial wizardry and expertise has no doubt made the New Direction Administration, under the able Leadership of Gov. Yahaya Bello to standout in terms of transparency and accountability.
As you add another year today. It is our prayers that your light of being an outstanding Financial example would shining brighter in the coming years.
