The leadership of Peoples Democratic Party in ijumu LGA have commended the efforts of Hon Alfred Bello, the State Treasurer of the Party in supporting their efforts to sanitize the party.
The Leaders in a statement added that Hon. Alfred Bello has also help in preventing all acts of impunity by some people who had held on to the jugular of the party for decades.
According to the leaders, Hon. Alfred Bello has demonstrated extreme fairness and justice in the handling of ijumu matter, described him as a capable and loyal Member of the State Executive for standing by the truth and the wishes of the genuine and loyal party members
The leaders also appreciated the quality leadership of Engr. Sam Uhuotu the party State chairman and described him as a man of integrity who in his wisdom has successfully kept the party together devoid of factions inspite the of the fact that the party is in opposition in the State.
” We want to state emphatically that we held a Congress free and fair and we will defend the mandate in accordance to the Constitution of the party and that of the federal republic of Nigeria.
” We pledge our unalloyed loyalty to the party at all time and those who stood by us on this matter.
” We noticed the activities of some black legs in the state executives but kudos to those who stood on the part of truth, we pray God almighty will reward everyone accordingly.
