The All Progressives Congress Ward Congress holding in Yagba West LGA of Kogi State has adopted the affirmation option in its Ward Congress, with Hon. Sunday Karimi, describing the exercise as largely peaceful.
Speaking with the Nigerianpost at the venue of his Ward Congress, the two time member of the House of Representatives, said aside those who got political appointment, some deceased persons, and those who had left the party that were replaced, the exercise largely affirmed the previous officers.
Hon. Karimi who represented Yagba Federal Constituency between 2011 and 2019, described Yagba West as a strong hold of the APC, described the exercise as a family affairs.
The former Lawmaker thanked and commended the people of Yagba West for their peaceful conduct and for accepting the APC as there party of choice.
Similarly, Hon Pius Kolawole, Council Chairman of Yagba West LGA, said the exercise in the area is peaceful, commended the peaceful disposition of the people to the APC.
The Chairman described Yagba West as home of the APC, said the hitch free exercise is created by the enabling environment made possible by Gov. Yahaya Bello.
