The Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency Hon. Lawal Muhammadu Idirisu attended the Eight days fidau prayer of the late Onu of Ajaokuta Alh Ibrahim Kasim.
The prayer was attended by dignitaries from across the state, clergymen, traditional rulers across Ajaokuta headed by the chairman of the traditional council of chiefs His Royal Highness Alh. Isah Achuja , also the chairman traditional council of chiefs Ofu Local Government His Royal Highness Alh. Akwu Obaje was also in attendance among others . Also the Representative of Ajaokuta District Community Abuja branch Mall. Umar Yahaya was in attendance as he came with their token for the fidau prayer.
The Member was received by mammoth crowd as he arrived the venue of the occasion his arrival attracted attention of the personalities and traditional rulers who were already seated at the venue as the youths were shouting number one Leader and political landlord of Ajaokuta politics .
The Member described the late Onu of Ajaokuta as a father and a role model who always stood for his people and pray for almighty Allah to grants him eternal rest.
After the prayer the ward head of Ajaokuta Mall. Adama B .Musa was appointed as an active Onu of Ajaokuta by the Executive Chairman of Ajaokuta who was ably represnted by the Secretary of the Local Government awaiting the resolution of the ruling house to come out with a name.
The Ohi of Eganyi and Chairman traditional council of chiefs Ajaokuta Local Government intimated the community after the announcement of the acting Onu Mall. Adama B.Musa that all the community Members must abide and work with the acting Onu and charged the ruling house of the stool of Onu to meet and resolve with themselves to bring out a name as nobody can impose someone on the Community as it has been a family affairs from history.
The program came to an end as the Member Hon. Lawal Muhammadu Idirisu congratulated the acting Onu of Ajaokuta Mall. Adama B. Musa for his appointment and charged him to put up his best and follows the step of the late Onu who leaves an exemplary life worthy of emulation. He prayed for the gentle soul of the late Onu to rest in peace and Almighty Allah grant him Aljanatu Firdausi.
