Kogi State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has announced midnight Friday July 23, 2021, as the final closing date for the registration of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), Common Entrance Examination (CEE) and Basic School Leaving Certificate in the state.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Pastor Emmanuel Idenyi, made the announcement in a statement made available to journalists in Lokoja on Monday.
According to the permanent secretary, all is now set towards the conduct of the 2021 Internal Examinations in the state, such as: Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), Common Entrance Examination (CEE) and Basic Six School Leaving Certificate.
He added that the final submission of Subject Analyses by Heads of Schools would also be the same day with the closing date for registration of all the internal exams which is Friday July 23, 2021.
He, therefore urged parents/guardians, schools’ heads and all the relevant stakeholders to take note and comply with the directive, saying there would be no further extension in the closing date.
