The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has congratulated the newly appointed Chairman and members of the Kogi State Youth Development Commission, charges them to work as a team and see this as an opportunity to put the state ahead.
The Deputy Speaker commended the Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for approving competent Kogi youths to pilot the affairs of the Kogi State Youth Development Commission.
Recall that the Law to provide for the Establishment of Youth Development Commission, Implementation of Sustainable Youth Policy was sponsored by Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed and signed into law by Governor Bello in 2018, putting Kogi State as the first state in North Central Nigeria to have a Youth Development Commission.
