The Special Adviser to the Zamfara State Governor /Directorates of quarter system and recruitments, Hon. Aliyu Sarkin Pawa, DIPMA, has described the defection of the Executive Governor of Zamfara State from the peoples Democratic party(PDP) to the ruling all progressives Congress (APC) as a welcomed Development and a decision any selfless leader would take.
Hon. Aliyu disclosed this to the media in an interview at the Gusau Trade fair Centre , Zamfara state at a reception organized to receive His Excellency, Governor Bello matawalle maradu, on Tuesday 29th june, 2021.
He further stated that, the state can not afford to continually be in the opposition party it has to be in the party that controls the centre to enable her surmount it challenges.
According to the special adviser, within a few period of time, the Governor has achieved immensely, but more was needed to change the narrative of Zamfara state, particularly, in the area of security,he noted.
He also added that the Governor’s decision to dump the peoples Democratic party was not a strange action but has been part of the political culture in Nigeria, and the people of Zamfara state embrace the Governor’s decision in it entirety.
