Akorede of Ogidi Kingdom, Otunba Gbadeniyi of Ekinrin Adde: Note of appreciation from Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, MHR

I, Shaba Ibrahim, wish to thank Almighty Allah for the gift of life and his blessings on me which are too numerous for me to count at once.

I wish to appreciate HRH Oba Alhaji Rabiu, Ologidi of Ogidi Kingdom for finding me worthy to confer on me, title of Akorede of Ogidi Kingdom, Ijumu Local Government of Kogi State.

I also wish to appreciate the Olu-Adde, HRH Oba Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu, ACA (Ahe-Maworo I) and the Olu-Adde-In-Council for finding me worthy to confer on me, title of Otunba Gbadeniyi of Ekinrin Adde (Right-hand man of the King, who gives honour to the Throne) Kingdom, Ijumu Local Government of Kogi State.

I am overwhelmed to be conferred with two great titles by two great kingdoms on the same day.

A million times and more, I say “thank you” to all who turned up at both locations to witness the great events.

To you, my political Family #TeamShaba, friends and well-wishers, I say “thank you”. Without you, I would not be where I am today. I owe it to you all, to keep making you proud at every instance I find myself in position to lead.

To my constituents, the people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, I want to use this opportunity to yet again re-affirm my pledge to continue to serve you in all capacity as your Federal Representative.

Friends, relatives and supporters that came from far and near to honour me with their presence and to rejoice with me, I say a big “thank you” and I wish you all safe trip back to your various destinations.

I in no little way, I dedicate my titles to my dear friend and brother who left me in the struggle too early to answer the ultimate call of our Lord, Hon. Labaran Adamigona. Knowing fully well that all souls shall taste death someday, as I continue to remember how we both walked shoulder-to-shoulder to give our best to the people in low and high grounds during his time on Earth, I wish his family the fortitude to continually bear the irreplaceable loss while I continue to pray to Allah to give him the highest place in Aljannah. Amin.

Long live the Federal Republic Nigeria,
Long live Kogi State,
Long live Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency of Kogi State.

Shaba Ibrahim, MHR;
Akorede of Ogidi Kingdom, Otunba Gbadiniyi of Ekinrin Adde Kingdom.

June 20th 2021.
