
Kogi State Chairman of Forestry and Produce has felicitated with the Muslim faithfuls on the celebration of Eidl-Fitr.
He thanked God Almighty for successful ending of this year Ramadan fast and wishes all the kogites especially the muslims a happy sallah and pray we witness many more of this auspicious day.
Hon. Quincy in his sallah message has encouraged the Muslims in the state to hold onto the fear of Allah and also to maintain the faith after Ramadan, as this will help us to draw closer to Allah (SWA).
He said the five gains of fasting are God consciousness, Nearness to Allah, Patience, Good manner and Muslim unity. To maintained the listed gains which we have achieved during the Ramadan. We should ensure to partake in voluntary fast, give alms to the needy and stay away from what is forbidden by God, just as we have practised in the month of Ramadan. For this will help us attain the fear of God.
He further advised the Muslims to carry out their obligations as true citizens of the state, to be religion tolerance and shun any form if sociopolitical chaos. He also said they should continue to pray and show support for Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration.
