In the spirit of giving back to the society and identifying with the vulnerables, the Tailors Association of Nigeria, Kogi State Women Wing pay an August visit to Yekope Orphanage home and Specialist hospitals as part of her annual extension of services to the society.
It was a beautiful atmosphere at the home and for the orphans when the above association humbly lead by Mrs. Blessing. F. Dauda; the State Women Leader for Tailors Association of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter as parts of her culture identify and celebrate with children at Yekope orphanage home. At the home, Mrs Blessing described the children as a gift from God just like any other children. She expresses the displeasure to parents or mothers found of abandoning their wards for whatsoever reasons.
In her statement she said blessing as such from God shouldn’t be left to suffer any emotional or the like disorder . She however kindle the hope with the children that despite their parent abandoning them a larger society is here to accept them.
Mrs Blessing and her team appreciate the patron, teachers and staff of the orphanage home and describe them, their service as a glorious task that is divinely Favour. She encourage them to keep the good work/service to self, orphans and the society at large.
As part of the visit, the association presented gifts of foodstuffs, toileteries, sowed cloths and a token to the orphans at the home.
The Matron of the home, Mrs. Owosagaba while receiving the group prays God enlarges more their coast and makes better their services and pursuit in life. She thanks the group on behalf of the children for a joyous visit and others always to the home.
The association later visited the children ward at the specialist hospital Lokoja to also pray and present some items to the sick at the hospital.
Also present at the visit was Hon. Amodu Ibikunle Abubarkar, Senior Special Assistant to His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Youth Empowerment, Kogi West to also identify with the children whom he described as capable, prosperous and potential beautiful youth of tomorrow.
