……Calls for prayers for the nation
House of Representatives Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim has called on Christians in the Constituency to hold strongly the value in the Easter celebration.
He used the time to assure constituents of his unrelenting drive towards ensuring that he betters the lot of constituents.
He made a call for prayers, insisting that the nation Nigeria is in dire need of prayers, to scale through its current challenges.
“As we leaders do our part, I want to also urge fellow Nigerians to remain law-abiding, patriotic and remember the nation in their prayers, as patriotism and prayer are key to our nationhood journey.
“I congratulate the Christian brethren in the constituency on the occasion of the Easter celebration. May the reason for the season, being the message of love and sacrifice find expression in our lives. Happy Easter celebration to our christian brothers and sisters”, the lawmaker noted in his Easter message.
