The remains of a Foremost Accountant and Industrialist, Chief Stephen Kolawole Ajulo, who died on December 29, 2020 have been committed to mother earth at his country home, Ayetoro Gbede, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State amidst tears and commendation by family, friends and well wishers.

Sympathizers from all walks of life, relatives and the Ijumu Anglican family gathered at Saint Peter’s Anglican Church Ayetoro Gbede to pay their last respect to the Late Icon known for excellence and truth.

The Bishop of Ijumu Anglican Diocese, Right Reverend Paul Ojo in a sermon titled “Life” said living as human is based on choice, saying the choice made in life, will determine how ones eternity will be.

Right Reverend Ojo explained that only those who live godly lives will earn eternal life from God as all men will die and give account of their stewardship before the Creator.

“This life is a gift from God, don’t struggle for perishable things but that which will give you eternity.”

He described the death of Chief Stephen Kolawole Ajulo as costly and painful, noting that his contributions to the growth of the Anglican Church and Community development are remarkable.

The Bishop called on Okun sons and daughters to emulate the contributions of the Late Industrialist and Spiritual Leader by investing the human and Okun land, urging the children of the deceased to sustain the legacies of their father.

Right Reverend Ojo prayed God to console the family, Anglican family, Ayetoro Gbede and Ijumu people and the deceased, eternal rest.

Speaking on behalf of the Ajulo family, a brother of the Late Icon, Samuel Ojo Ajulo expressed appreciation to all who stood by them in their moment of grief.

According to him, the demise of Late Chief Stephen Kolawole Ajulo has created a vacuum in the family too difficult to fill and prayed God to rest his soul in eternity.

The eldest son of the deceased, Mr. Olusegun Ajulo “My father was a kind man and somebody who strived for the best while on Earth, his joy was in bringing people close to him, so that they can progress in life and that is why you see the crowd who came to celebrate him.”

Mr. Olusegun further stated that ” he has taught me to be a better person, to work hard, be truthful, he has taught me to do whatever am doing with pride and joy, that am going to miss and sustain.”

A legal Luminary, Barrister Paul Ajetunmobi described Late Stephen Kolawole Ajulo as his mentor, confidant, coach, upline and role model that those around him looked up to.

“A great man, blessed with wisdom and honesty from God. Very persevering personality, simple, easy going and endowed with wisdom. By the grace of God, I knew him in the 60s as a community leader and didn’t know that we’re related.” Barrister Paul Ajetunmobi added.
