In a unique fashion, the Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government, Hon. (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has revealed the Secretary to the Local Government, SLG Mrs. Joy Odaudu by presenting her to the ward Chairmen of APC in Omala local government.
The Chief Executive of the LG urged the nominee to, upon her successful screening by the state Assembly, make herself accessible to all, by ensuring she delivers in line with the tenets and ideals of APC which is hinged on good governance in all spheres.
The local government APC party Chairman, Hon. Danjuma Baba congratulated the nominee, urged her to be loyal and responsive in the discharge of her duty, subsequent upon her confirmation. He praised the Executive Chairman for finding the nominee worthy to serve in his cabinet, guarantee of their total support.
The SLG, Mrs Joy Odaudu said, “I sincerely appreciate my boss for this rare privilege. If confirmed, I’ll do my best to justify the confidence repose in me”.
The meeting with the local government party chairmen is one of series of meetings with stakeholders and other dignitaries to familiarise and/or to acquaint the people with the prospective SLG.
