PDP LOKOJA LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONDOLES ADANKOLO RESIDENTS OVER LOSS OF SEVERAL LIVES FOLLOWING VIOLENCE BY APC THUGS IN NOVEMBER 2019 GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS IN KOGI STATE.


 

The People’s Democratic Party PDP Lokoja Local Government has condoled once again with the people of Adankolo of Ward A following the killing of several persons by APC Thugs in the November 2019 Gubernatorial Elections in Kogi State.

The condolences was made while observing a 1 minute silence in Honour of the those killed by political thugs believed to have been sponsored by APC.

The people’s Democratic Party was in Adankolo to canvass for votes of the area in Favour of its candidates for the fourth coming Local Government Council Elections in Kogi State.

The party’s campaign train which has earlier visited several points in Ward A amongs which includes Workers Village, Lokongoma village and convergence of Oworo Community in Phase 11 pleaded with Adankolo not to be deterred by the events of last year leading to the death of not less than 3 persons and said further that their destiny must not be surrendered to wicked and heartless politicians whose only stock in trade is to steal votes through violence instead of using their score cards to convince people for their votes.

Hon Yabagi Bologi who represented the leader of the party Senator Tunde Ogbeha encouraged the crowd not to be weary but should come out enmass to vote for PDP on Saturday.
He said further that the only way to change the narratives of under development in the state is to vote out APC come Saturday.

The Chairmanship Candidate of the party Alhaji Shehu Yabagi flanked by his Deputy Mr Emmanuel OLOWO commended the crowd for coming out to receive him and the entourage despite that fact that the team came earlier than scheduled.
He promised to deliver quality service to the people part of which Adankolo Community will be beneficiary.
He called on the youths to support the women and elders by protecting their votes and monitor it bumper to bumper that they should never surrender to intimidation by political thieves.

Also speaking the Deputy State Chairman of PDP Hon Sam Abenemi commended Adankolo people for their consistency in voting PDP in previous Elections.

Ward A leader Hon El-Shettima and the Ward party chairman Chief Abioye thanked the entourage for the visit and assured the party that success will be recorded for the party come Saturday.

The Campaign train thereafter departed for Ward B the home Ward of the Candidate.

Other dignitaries present at the rally includes but not limited to the Local Government party chairman Alh Idris Lokoja, Hon Danladi Bababudan, Hon Danladi Saba, Hon Bawa Yakubu DG of the Campaign and Hon Abdulrahman Mohammed Balga amongst others.
