I remain unperturbed the Candidate of Apc for Kogi West Senatorial District in forthcoming 2027 election
My attention has been drawn to the unfortunate judgement of the Federal High Court in the suit filed by Hon Samuel Bamidele Aro against my candidature as the Flagbearer of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress.
It is crystal clear to even the blind that the judgment is contrary to the evidence before the Court and it is unfortunate that the trial judge overruled himself, having ruled in not less than 3 similar cases on the issue of statute of limitiation in pre-election proceedings as well as proper authority to conduct and determine winner of Political Party Primary Elections.
Fortunately, our legal system admits of redress via an appellate system.
All Kogi West citizens, the entire Kogi State and even Hon. Samuel Bamidele Aro himself knows that he never participated in the said Primary election, yet made up documents to establish falshood.
We will pursue our rights within the Nigerian Legal System due to our firm belief in the resilience of the Judicial System in Nigeria.
I wish to state that this is incident is the handiwork of the glaring hands of the rulers of our State who have been desperete and consistent in doing anything to persecute me just to protect their hold on the resources of Kogi State, for which i have voiced loudly against.
I remain strong and undeterred and my campaign continues with adequate zeal and vigor.
My detractors do not love the Party nor Mr President, i remain the number one supporter of Mr President in Kogi State.
I urge my supporters to remain strong whilst we pursue redress in court.
This is all part of what we must pass through to reach our destination.
Lets remain steadfast in our quest for good governance.
