Senator Karimi Felicitates CAN President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh On Birthday, Hails His Exemplary Leadership

The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Karimi, has felicitated with the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), His Eminence, Most Rev. Dr. Daniel Chukwudumebi Okoh, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by him on Tuesday, Senator Karimi described Archbishop Okoh as a distinguished spiritual father, a national moral compass and a high-profile statesman whose leadership has brought dignity, unity and renewed strength to the Christian community and the nation at large.

The Senator noted that Archbishop Okoh has consistently demonstrated exceptional wisdom, humility and courage in leading the apex Christian body in Nigeria at a very challenging time in the nation’s history.

According to Senator Karimi, the CAN President has distinguished himself as a bridge builder, a voice for peace, justice and national cohesion, and a true shepherd who places the interest of the Church and the unity of Nigeria above all else.

“On behalf of my family, the good people of Kogi West Senatorial District and Kogi State at large, I join millions of Christians and well-meaning Nigerians to celebrate a great man of God, an intellectual, an administrator par excellence and a patriotic Nigerian,” Senator Karimi said.

“Your Eminence has brought uncommon grace, intellectual depth, ecumenical balance and diplomatic maturity to the leadership of CAN. Under your watch, the Christian Association of Nigeria has remained a formidable pillar of moral guidance, inter-faith dialogue and national stability. You have been fearless in speaking truth to power, yet calm and fatherly in building consensus.”

Senator Karimi further prayed that God will continue to grant the CAN President good health, more wisdom and long life to continue his invaluable service to the Church and to humanity.

“As you celebrate today, I pray that the Almighty God will strengthen you, preserve you, and grant you many more years in sound health and divine wisdom to continue to lead the Body of Christ and contribute to the peace and progress of our dear nation,” he added.

Archbishop Daniel Okoh, who is also the General Superintendent of Christ Holy Church International, is widely respected across denominations and beyond religious divides for his commitment to unity, peace-building and national development.
