The Kogi State Commissioner for Water Resources, Engr. Yahaya MD Farouk, has felicitated with the State Project Coordinator of Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, OON, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him on Tuesday, Engr. Farouk described Barr. Jatto as an exceptional leader, a trailblazer and an icon of selfless service whose commitment to environmental sustainability and community development has continued to inspire many within and outside Kogi State.
He noted that under her visionary and pragmatic leadership, the Kogi State ACReSAL Project has recorded remarkable milestones in land restoration, watershed management, climate resilience and livelihood support, thereby complementing the water sector reforms and sustainable development agenda of the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
“On behalf of my family, the management and staff of the Ministry of Water Resources, I heartily rejoice with a distinguished Amazon, a woman of uncommon intellect, grace and capacity, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, OON, as she marks another glorious year,” the Commissioner stated.
“Barr. Jatto is not just a Project Coordinator; she is a mother, a mentor, a bridge-builder and a reservoir of knowledge whose passion for service and dedication to duty is worthy of emulation. Her leadership has brought honour to Kogi State and has positioned ACReSAL as a model of excellence in the country.”
Engr. Farouk prayed for the celebrant, asking the Almighty God to grant her many more years in good health, renewed strength and greater wisdom to continue her outstanding contributions to Kogi State and the nation at large.
He further wished her a joyous birthday celebration filled with love, laughter and the warmth of family and well-wishers.
