The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Karimi, has felicitated with elder statesman and former Senator representing Kogi West, Distinguished Senator Tunde Ogbeha, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued on Monday, Senator Karimi described Senator Ogbeha as one of the architects of modern Kogi State whose record of service has continued to shape the political and socio-economic trajectory of the state.
“Distinguished Senator Tunde Ogbeha distinguished himself from his days as a military administrator to his illustrious career as a politician and diplomat. He is a community leader per excellence and his representation of Kogi West Senatorial District remains a watershed in our history,” Senator Karimi stated.
The Kogi West Senator noted that Senator Ogbeha’s life of service, integrity and bridge-building has made him a reference point in leadership and nation-building.
He added that the elder statesman’s contributions to democracy, unity and development across Kogi State and Nigeria remain indelible and worthy of emulation by the younger generation.
Senator Karimi prayed Almighty God to grant Senator Ogbeha more years in good health, wisdom and strength to continue to offer guidance to leaders and serve humanity.
