The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has felicitated elder statesman and former Senator representing Kogi West, Distinguished Senator Tunde Ogbeha, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Engr. Gegu described Senator Ogbeha as a patriot, statesman and bridge-builder whose life of service continues to inspire generations across Kogi State and Nigeria.
The Commissioner praised the celebrant as a man of integrity, wisdom and uncommon courage, noting that his contributions to nation-building, democracy and the unity of Kogi State are indelible.
“Senator Ogbeha remains a shining example of selfless leadership, humility and dedication to public good. His wealth of experience as a military officer, diplomat and legislator has continued to enrich national discourse and mentor young leaders in politics and governance,” he stated.
Engr. Gegu prayed to God Almighty to grant the former senator more years in good health, renewed strength and greater wisdom to continue to serve humanity and offer guidance to leaders at all levels.
“On behalf of myself and family, I celebrate you today, Distinguished Senator. May your new age be filled with joy, peace and divine blessings,” the Commissioner added.
