The Edo State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) joins millions of well-wishers across Edo State and beyond to celebrate and felicitate *His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo*, Governor of Edo State, on the auspicious occasion of his 56th birthday.
In a goodwill message issued in Benin City, the Edo NLC described the Governor’s new age as a season of renewed vigour, youthful energy, and the capacity to drive transformative and people-oriented leadership in the State.
The message, signed by Prof. Monday Lewis Igbafen, Chairman of the Edo NLC Caretaker Committee, conveyed the warmest felicitations and heartfelt birthday wishes of the entire working class in Edo State to the Governor.
“On behalf of the entire workforce in Edo State, we wish His Excellency sound health, wisdom, and divine guidance in this new age and always,” the statement affirmed.
The Edo NLC further urged the Governor to leverage the goodwill and joyous mood of his birthday to give urgent attention to the pressing issues confronting labour in the State, and to deepen the existing cordial relationship between government and workers.
The Council also commended Senator Okpebholo for his steadfast commitment and relentless efforts towards the development and progress of Edo State.
