I, Hon. Omonu Joshua “Levels”, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Student Affairs, received with deep shock and sadness the news of the demise of Hon. Yunusa Ishaq, APC Divisional Chairman, Dekina LGA, and other APC members of Dekina LGA.
On behalf of myself, family, and the entire student constituency in Kogi State, I extend my heartfelt condolences to three pillars of APC in Dekina LGA: Hon. Yakubu Okala, Kogi State Auditor General; Hon. Rabietu Okwute, Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs; and Hon. John Urah Ikani, Executive Chairman of Dekina Local Government Area.
Hon. Yunusa Ishaq was a loyal party man, a grassroots mobilizer, and a committed leader whose dedication to the growth of APC in Dekina LGA will be sorely missed. His life was defined by service, humility, and an unwavering commitment to the ideals of our great party. To lose him alongside other valued party members is a painful blow to the APC family in Dekina and Kogi State at large.
At this moment of grief, I urge our leaders and the entire APC family in Dekina to take solace in the legacies Hon. Yunusa Ishaq left behind. His commitment to party unity, his accessibility to members, and his service to the people should continue to inspire us all.
I pray Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannah Firdaus, and grant the bereaved families, the APC in Dekina, and all of us the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace.
