WIN WITH TINUBU (WWT) INAUGURATES STATE STEERING COMMITTEE (SSC) IN KOGI

The Win With Tinubu (WWT) Grassroots Mobilization programme designed by the Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF) to mobilize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, has officially inaugurated a forty (40) member State Steering Committee (SCC) for the 2027 Presidential and National Assembly Elections in Kogi State.
At the inauguration ceremony held in Lokoja, the Chairman of the State Steering Committee, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District, stated that the cardinal objective of the mobilization programme is to galvanize support towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and other APC candidates in the state, ensuring that the All Progressives Congress (APC) records a resounding victory at all levels in the forthcoming Presidential and National Assembly Elections.
Also speaking at the event, Senator Jubril Isah Echocho, Co-Chairman of the Mobilization Programme and Senator representing Kogi East Senatorial District, who was represented by Alhaji Salisu Edibo, stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has performed credibly well and deserves re-election despite the enormous challenges he inherited upon assuming office.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Advisory Council for the Mobilization Programme, Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali, charged members of the State Steering Committee to serve with dedication, unity, and integrity in advancing the objectives of the programme.
Baba Ali emphasized that the committee has a strategic responsibility to coordinate grassroots mobilization efforts across the state.
At the inaugural meeting, members of the State Steering Committee were assigned portfolios to ensure the smooth administration of the mobilization programme scheduled to commence in September 2026.
Hon. Sani Philips was appointed State Programme Coordinator, while Pst. Stanley Ajileye was appointed State Programme Secretary. Other appointments made at the inaugural meeting include Hon. Sulieman Babadoko as Director, Field Operations (WWTK), Mr. Sylvester Ojogbane as Director, Field Operations (WWTS), Cmdr. Folusho Daniels as Director, Strategy & Plans Committee (WWTK), Hon. Haruna Isah as Director, Election Planning & Management (WWTK), Hon. Akpa Jibrin Omale as Director, Election Planning & Management (WWTS) and Col. Samuel Yomi Dare (Rtd) as Director, Security & Intelligence (WWTK).
The committee also has AIG Abutu Yaro (Rtd) as Director, Security & Intelligence Committee (WWTS), Chief Ganiyu Salawudeen as Director, Contact, Grassroots Engagement & Mobilization (WWTK), Hon. Hassan Omale as Director, Contact, Grassroots Engagement & Mobilization (WWTS), Mrs. Olamide Adesoro as Director, Women Mobilization (WWTK), Mrs. Florence Achoba as Director, Women Mobilization (WWTS), Mrs. Omoladun Asabe Baiye as Director, Strategic Communications, Media and Publicity. (WWTK).
Chief Kayode Adegbayo was appointed as Director, Programs, Events & Logistics (WWTK), Alh. Murtala Muhammed as Director, Programs, Events & Logistics (WWTS), Hon. Makinde Oyebode as Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Compliance (WWTK), Hon. Sule Salifu Alkali as Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Compliance (WWTS), Alh. Salihu O. Shuaibu as Director, Voters Education (WWTK) and Hon. Hassan Sule as Director, Voters Education (WWTK).

Dr. Mrs. Oluwakemi Ayodele was appointed as Director, Data Management (WWTK), Mrs. Stella Abass as Director, Entertainment & Welfare (WWTK), Hajia Fatima Anaja as Director, Entertainment & Welfare (WWTS), Chief Funsho Otu as Director, Community Support Mobilization (WWTK), Alh. Okobo Ayingba as Director, Community Support Mobilization (WWTS), and Alh. Idris Lokoja as Director, Secretariat Services (WWTK).
Speaking on behalf of the newly appointed State Steering Committee (SCC) members, the State Programme Coordinator, Hon. Sani Philips, thanked the leadership of the Mobilization Programme for the confidence reposed in the newly appointed members and reaffirmed their commitment to working collaboratively in mobilizing grassroots support, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the successful implementation of the WWT Grassroots Mobilization Programme throughout Kogi State.
Hon. Sani Philips further stated that the new appointments underscores the commitment of the WWT leadership in ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and in building a strong and effective organizational structure capable of delivering on its mandate.
The Win With Tinubu (WWT) Grassroots Mobilization Programme is aimed at strengthening grassroots support, promoting citizen engagement, and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda across Kogi State.
