HON. OMOLUABI BODE ADEYEMI COMMENDS HON. LEKE ABEJIDE ON KABBA–IYAMOYE ROAD REHABILITATION EFFORTS, DESCRIBES INITIATIVE AS A BOLD TESTAMENT TO PEOPLE-CENTRED REPRESENTATION

Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, Chairman of the Forum of Special Advisers in Kogi State, has commended Hon. Leke Abejide for his determined intervention toward the rehabilitation of the Kabba–Iyamoye Road, describing the initiative as a powerful demonstration of responsive leadership, purposeful representation and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people.
In a statement issued by the Omoluabi Media Network, Hon. Bode Adeyemi described the Kabba–Iyamoye Road as a critical economic and social artery whose rehabilitation will bring significant relief to commuters, farmers, traders, business owners and residents who depend on the route for their daily activities.
He stressed that leadership should not be defined merely by titles, positions or political rhetoric, but by the courage to confront challenges, the compassion to listen to the people and the determination to turn genuine concerns into tangible solutions.
According to him, Hon. Leke Abejide’s intervention is a clear reflection of leadership that understands the realities of the people and is willing to act decisively in their interest.
“This is more than a road project; it is a statement of purposeful representation. It is evidence that when leadership is driven by genuine concern for the people, meaningful development becomes possible. Hon. Leke Abejide has demonstrated that public service is about impact, responsibility and leaving a lasting footprint on the lives of the people,” Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi stated.
Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi noted that good roads are fundamental to economic prosperity, stressing that the rehabilitation of the Kabba–Iyamoye Road will strengthen connectivity, facilitate the movement of agricultural produce, reduce transportation difficulties and create a more conducive environment for commerce and community development.
He further praised Hon. Abejide for demonstrating that effective representation goes beyond legislative duties and political engagements, insisting that elected representatives must remain deeply connected to the aspirations and everyday realities of their constituents.

Leke Abejide toward the rehabilitation of this important road is one of those interventions that speaks directly to the people.
