Charles Olukunle Hails Kogi Security Adviser on His Birthday, Describes Him as Boss, Father and Mentor

The Personal Assistant to the State Security Adviser, Hon. Charles Olukunle, has joined family members, associates, and well-wishers across Kogi State and beyond have in celebrating his boss, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), the State Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a birthday message, Hon. Charles Olukunle described the celebrant as “an extraordinary leader, a selfless community builder, and a man whose life continues to inspire many.”
Olukunle, who referred to Omodara as his boss, father, and mentor, said the retired commander’s years of service, both in the military and in community development, reflect the true essence of leadership rooted in sacrifice, vision, and impact.
According to Olukunle, Commander Omodara’s commitment to the development of Oke-Offin community, Bunuland, Kabba/Bunu LGA, and Kogi State at large has remained visible through peace-building initiatives and philanthropic support.
“From supporting youths and women to standing by the elderly, his door has remained open to anyone in need of counsel, support, or direction. That is the mark of a true father and leader,” Olukunle stated.
He noted that Omodara has consistently championed unity at a time when division is rife, and has invested his time, resources, and energy in making communities better.
Charles Olulunle further highlighted Omodara’s dedication to integrity and responsibility.
“He has taught us that leadership is not about titles, but about responsibility. Through his guidance, many of us have learned the values of hard work, humility, honesty, and service to humanity,” Olukunle said.
He described the celebrant as a leader who demands excellence, corrects with love, and mentors others to become better versions of themselves.
