No Individual or Group Can Derail Governor Ododo’s Re-election Aspiration — Kabba/Bunu LGA Chairman

The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has declared that no individual or group can diminish the growing support for the re-election aspiration of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, citing what he described as the Governor’s unwavering commitment to inclusive governance, infrastructure development, security, and the overall progress of Kogi State.

In a statement issued from the Office of the Executive Chairman and signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Information, Communications and Strategy, Nayo Jude Babatunde-Uyi, the Chairman said Governor Ododo has continued to justify the confidence reposed in him by the people through purposeful leadership and people-oriented policies that are making meaningful impacts across the state.

According to the Chairman, Governor Ododo has demonstrated an uncommon commitment to the equitable development of every part of Kogi State, with visible investments in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, youth empowerment, security, and economic development. He noted that these achievements have continued to strengthen public confidence in the administration and reinforce the Governor’s reputation as a leader committed to delivering the dividends of democracy.

Hon. Zacchaeus Dare Michael particularly commended the Governor’s attention to the security and development of Kabba/Bunu Local Government and the entire Okun axis, describing his administration as one that has consistently shown sincerity of purpose in addressing long-standing developmental concerns while promoting unity among the various ethnic nationalities of the state.

The Chairman also applauded the unwavering commitment of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi West Senatorial District for their continued cooperation, political maturity, and collective resolve in advancing the development of the region. He observed that the unity and strategic engagement among stakeholders have significantly enhanced Kogi West’s voice within the state’s political and developmental framework.

He further acknowledged the invaluable contributions of prominent APC leaders, political office holders, party executives, traditional rulers, elders, youth groups, women leaders, and other stakeholders who have remained steadfast in promoting peace, cohesion, and responsible political engagement across the district. According to him, their collective efforts have continued to position Kogi West for greater opportunities within the leadership architecture of Kogi State.

The Chairman emphasized that the region has remained united in supporting initiatives that promote equitable representation, sustainable development, and the long-term aspirations of the Okun people. He noted that this collective commitment, working in partnership with the administration of Governor Ododo, has laid a stronger foundation for increased government presence and broader opportunities for the people of Kogi West.

Hon. Zacchaeus Dare Michael therefore called on APC members and supporters across the state to remain united, peaceful, and focused on consolidating the achievements of the present administration. He urged party faithful to avoid actions capable of creating unnecessary divisions, stressing that unity, loyalty, and constructive engagement remain the surest path to sustaining the progress recorded under Governor Ododo’s leadership.

The Chairman reaffirmed his confidence that the people of Kogi State will continue to support leaders and policies they believe have advanced peace, development, and good governance, while assuring that the Kabba/Bunu Local Government Council would remain committed to working with the Governor in delivering more democratic dividends to the people.
