Leadership Of Edo State NGO’s, CSO’s Visit Gov. OKpebholo

————- Commends his developmental strides

The Leadership of the Edo State NGO’s and CSO’s over the weekend paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Edo State, Monday OKpebholo at Government House in Benin city.
Led on the visit by Elder Comrade Curtis Eghosa Ugbo, who is one of the founding fathers of both organisations in the State applauded the governor for his efforts in fighting Cultism, Kidnapping and other security concerns in the state.
The Leadership commended the governor on his Developmental strides which includes Cultism, Kidnappings and other Security concerns.
“You are working and the people are happy as we believe the Best is yet to come with the way you have started.” He stated .
Elder Comrade Curtis Eghosa Ugbo, Leader of the groups said, “we are here firstly to congratulate you on your election victory as Governor of Edo State and to address issues of concern affecting directly and indirectly the people of the state.” We appreciate all you have done in the last one and half years ( less than 2-years in government) because we have been watching from a distance to understudy your administration.
” We commend you,Mr Governor on your Developmental strides which includes Cultism, Kidnappings and other Security concerns in the state”
The groups pledged their continued support for initiatives they believe will strengthen institutions, improve governance and advance the welfare of residents in the state.
They lauded the governor for supporting Edo indigenes who were recently evacuated from South Africa following xenophobic attacks and his pledge of N1 million to each of them .
Ugbo, also praised the governor for promising to provide soft loans to enable the returnees to start businesses and reintegrate into society.
He urged the governor to continue with the good work of developing Edo State and not to allow detractors to derail him as the people are solidly behind him.
Another speaker which includes the President the Edo State NGO’s Conference of Non-Governmental Organisations (CONGOS) in the State -Comrade Bartholomew Okoudo also thank the Governor for his Developmental commitment for a better Edo State.
And the Youth Council Chairman of Edo State, Comrade Moses Aguinede who was also present in the visit, thanked the Governor for youth incluciveness in his government and carrying them along in positive prospect.
