… “She Lived A Life Of Faith, Discipline And Service” Management Mourns Late Mama Ogah Ajuma Theresa, 82

The Management and Staff of The Nigerian Post Newspaper, have expressed deep condolences to the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, Hon. Sunday Ogah, over the passing of his beloved mother, Mama Ogah Ajuma Theresa, who departed at the age of 82.

In a statement issued to newsmen in Lokoja and signed by the Publisher, Abu Michael, the newspaper described the late matriarch as a devout woman, a pillar of faith, and a mother whose life was anchored on discipline, godliness, and love for humanity.

“She was a loving mother who saw discipline and unwavering trust in Almighty God as the bedrock for raising responsible children,” the statement read. “Mama Ajuma lived an exemplary life marked by humility, selflessness, and an enduring commitment to community service. She raised children who have gone on to serve the state and nation with distinction.”

The Management noted that Mama Ajuma’s death is painful and a great loss not only to the Ogah family but to Angwa community in Idah LGA and Kogi State at large.

“We urge Hon. Sunday Ogah and the entire family to take solace in the legacies she left behind a legacy of compassion, prayer, generosity, and service to others. Though she is gone, her values, teachings, and the seeds of love she planted will continue to flourish in the lives she touched,” the statement added.

The newspaper further commended Hon. Sunday Ogah for his dedication and loyalty in contributing to the success of the Ododo administration.
“Hon. Ogah has distinguished himself as an exceptional aide whose passion goes beyond duty. He has remained steadfast in projecting the good ideals and people-centered policies of the Ododo administration. We pray that God grants him and the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”

Meanwhile, the family of the late Ogah Ajuma Theresa has announced that her funeral rites will hold on Wednesday, 29th and Thursday, 30th July 2025 at Angwa, behind Angwa Primary School, Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The Nigerian Post Newspaper prays that the Almighty God grants Mama Ajuma eternal rest and comforts the Ogah family during this period of grief.
