As political consultations and grassroots engagements continue ahead of the 2027 general elections, increasing numbers of community leaders, youths, women, professionals, and stakeholders across Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency have expressed the view that Hon. Arc. Salman Idris has earned serious consideration for another term in the House of Representatives, citing his record in office and ongoing constituency engagement.
According to political observers, the call for the re-election of Hon. Arc. Salman Idris is rooted in the belief that continuity can help sustain developmental initiatives and provide opportunities to build on projects and programmes already underway. Supporters argue that his tenure has reflected commitment to legislative representation, accessibility to constituents, and efforts aimed at addressing local needs.
Speaking on the political atmosphere within the constituency, Political Advocate and Social Media Commentator, Comrade Olorunhudo Samuel Taiwo, stated that the people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency should carefully evaluate the performances of those seeking elective office and make informed decisions based on their assessment of representation, public service, and commitment to community development.
He noted that effective representation requires consistency, experience, and a thorough understanding of the challenges confronting the constituency. According to him, Hon. Arc.
