KOGI SOLID MINERAL COMMISSIONER HAILS TINUBU’S LEADERSHIP AS FIRST LADY OLUREMI TINUBU VISITS KOGI

The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu, has warmly welcomed the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, to Kogi State, the Confluence State. The First Lady arrive the state on Saturday, 11th July, 2026.
In a statement, Engr. Gegu described the visit as a clear demonstration of the First Lady’s commitment to national unity, grassroots development, and the well-being of Nigerians across all regions.
He noted that the visit also reflects the compassionate and inclusive leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and his administration’s focus on sustainable development and improved quality of life for citizens.
“Your Excellency’s presence in Kogi State at this time further inspires renewed hope and strengthens our collective resolve to advance strategic initiatives in energy, infrastructure, and human capital development,” he said.
The Commissioner added that Kogi, strategically positioned as the gateway between the North and South, is proud to host the First Lady. He expressed confidence that her engagements during the visit will deepen partnerships and further empower communities.
