AUDU/FALEKE YOUTH VANGUARD CONDEMNS SPONSORED ATTACK ON HON. JAMES ABIODUN FALEKE

Our attention has been drawn to a so-called press release by a faceless group in Kogi State. The statement, allegedly sponsored by desperate politicians whose attempt to secure Hon. James Abiodun Faleke’s support to undermine the APC in Kogi State failed, is nothing but an exercise in bitterness and mischief.
It is both regrettable and laughable that tenants in the party have suddenly begun to parade themselves as landlords.
Where was this group in 2013 and 2014 when the APC was being built from the ground up?
Where were they when the late Prince Abubakar Audu and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke crisscrossed Kogi East to deliver overwhelming votes for the APC, votes that Governor Yahaya Bello later inherited?
Let the record be clear: If not for the political conspiracy in Abuja that denied Hon. Faleke the mandate he rightfully earned after Prince Audu’s passing, the story of APC in Kogi State would be very different today.
Since the death of Prince Abubakar Audu, Hon. James Faleke has never abandoned Kogi State. Though he represents a federal constituency in Lagos, his heart, resources and political influence have remained firmly with Kogi people.
From the Audu/Faleke Campaign Council of 2015 till date, almost everyone who stood with that movement genuinely has been remembered by him. His scholarships, empowerment programs, palliatives and his role in securing federal appointments for Kogi indigenes, both political appointees and fresh graduates are undeniable.
If there is one individual keeping the APC alive and vibrant in Kogi State today, it is Hon. James Abiodun Faleke. The Audu/Faleke political family remains the backbone of the APC in the state.
The evidence speaks for itself, from the streetlights in Anyigba and across Kogi East, to interventions in Kogi West and Kogi Central. His impact is visible and enduring.
We therefore call on the sponsors of this faceless group to desist. The APC in Kogi State is bigger than petty distractions. We will not allow political jobbers with no history in the struggle to distort the truth or destroy the legacy our leaders built.
Signed:
Audu/Faleke Youth Vanguard, Kogi State
