Today, we at The Nigerian Post pause to raise a toast to a man whose name has become synonymous with hope, impact, and results for the Kogi State workforce, Hon. Comrade Onuh Edoka, the Special Adviser on Labour Matters to the Kogi State Government.
Since his appointment, the narrative for civil servants in Kogi has changed for good. Workers have witnessed an era of abundant welfare, enhanced emoluments, and policies that put people first. He arrived at a defining moment — when the ovation was loudest — and he has sustained the applause with uncommon delivery.
Comrade Edoka is not your regular public officer. He is a face of Labour, a trailblazer with the Midas touch, and a builder of men and systems.
From his remarkable days as a labour leader, his record spoke volumes: the rare feat of serving two terms as Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Kogi State Chapter — a testament to trust earned, not given.
He is a strategic thinker, a bridge-builder, and a servant-leader with an unquenchable passion for relationships that deliver.
Under his guidance, it has never been a dull moment for workers. Morale is high, welfare is prioritized, and dignity of labour is restored.
We describe him as a work in progress, a leader who continues to do good wherever his feet take him. He is resilient, visionary, compassionate, and transformational, a voice for the voiceless and a shield for the workforce under the people-focused administration of His Excellency, Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
On this auspicious occasion of his birthday, The Nigerian Post celebrates a labour icon, a statesman in the making, and the Onu Ogwu Oda Ojiji of Imane Kingdom, a name that commands respect across ethnic, religious, and political lines.
We pray for divine health, uncommon wisdom, renewed strength, and greater exploits for him. May his light continue to shine as a pillar, a compass, and an inspiration to workers and leaders alike.
Happy Birthday, Hon. Comrade Onuh Edoka!
