Comr. Babangida offered prayers for all stakeholders. He prayed for Allah’s wisdom, strength, and sound health for His Excellency the Governor to continue leading Kogi State with justice and compassion, and for protection and guidance for all government officials, security agencies, and market leaders. He also prayed for long life, honour, and increased barakah on the throne of HRH the Maigari of Lokoja, and for Allah to strengthen the bond between all traders by removing hatred and discord and replacing it with trust, fairness, and mutual benefit.
“May peace, progress, and Allah’s mercy continue to dwell in Lokoja International Market and every corner of Kogi State. Ameen. Let this day, 24th June 2026, be remembered as the day we chose unity over division, and peace over conflict. Together, we will build a stronger market and a greater Kogi,” he concluded.
