By joshua Nihi Pledges Government Support After Working Visit To Kogi College Of Health Sciences, Idah

Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Youth & Student Matters, Oladele John Nihi, has assured staff and students of the Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, of government intervention following a working visit to the institution.
Nihi, who was accompanied by Hon. Alonge Israel Femi, Senior Special Assistant on Digital Communications, and Hon. Eniola Olayemi, Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Mobilisation, held an executive session with college staff led by the Provost, Alh. Umar Shuaib, and student leaders jointly led by the Presidents of the Student Union Government and the National Association of Kogi State Students, College Chapter.
During the session, the Special Adviser said he listened to the gains and achievements recorded by the new leadership of the College, as well as the challenges confronting the institution. He stated that the issues raised will be conveyed to Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for prompt action.
Nihi also toured the College’s faculties, with particular attention to ongoing projects and areas requiring immediate government attention. He described the Governor as education-friendly and informed the staff and students that the Governor would visit the College very soon. “All the challenges presented will soon become a thing of the past,” he assured.
The visit is part of the Ododo administration’s efforts to strengthen tertiary institutions and improve learning conditions across the state.
