The National Secretary General of the Women Assembly Initiative Humanitarian International(WAIHI ),Charity foundation, Chafari Thompson has said that Nigeria Women has the Capability to lead the Country towards economic growth and prosperity if given leadership roles and opportunity to Contribute her quota.

Chafari Thompson disclosed this in a good will message delivered exclusively to the Press,at the launching of the Bussiness Women of Influence for Renewed Hope, themed,” Together we are Driving Renewed Hope” , Held Thursday, June 18th,2026, at the Dr. Marian Babangida Center for Women Development, Central Bussiness District Area 10 Garki Abuja.

Chafari further applauded the Conveners for the noble ideas and their painstaking efforts that led to the Convergence of Women from divergent line of Bussiness, describing the unveiling of the Bussiness Women of Influence as a major Catalyst that would enhance and facilitate the unlocking of the Socio-econonic and political potentials of the Nigerian Women.

She noted that the launch also buttressed the fact that, the role of women was not limited to keeping the house alone but could Contribute to National development if given the opportunity.

The WAIHI Charity foundation Secretary General also noted that, the group push for political and economic emancipation and inclusions alligns with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s efforts to assign significant leaders roles to Nigeria Women as evident in his policies and appointments.

She described the advocacy for” Reserved Seat” for women in the National Assembly are targeted policies to empower Nigeria Women Socio-politically and economically towards economic growth and prosperity if given greater leadership opportunities and the chance to contribute meaningfully to national development.

She commended the organizers for their noble vision and dedication in bringing together women from diverse business backgrounds. According to her, the unveiling of the Business Women of Influence platform will serve as a major catalyst for unlocking and enhancing the socio-economic and political potential of Nigerian women.

Thompson noted that the initiative further reinforces the fact that women’s roles extend beyond domestic responsibilities and that they can make significant contributions to national development when provided with the necessary opportunities and support.

The WAIHI Charity Foundation Secretary-General also observed that the group’s advocacy for the political and economic emancipation and inclusion of women aligns with the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to promote women into key leadership positions through various appointments and policies.

She further stated that the campaign for reserved seats for women in the National Assembly represents a strategic policy aimed at strengthening the socio-political and economic empowerment of Nigerian women.

Thompson expressed optimism that initiatives such as the Business Women of Influence for Renewed Hope would encourage greater participation of women in governance, entrepreneurship, and nation-building, ultimately contributing to sustainable development and national prosperity.
