The Oladele John Nihi Foundation, OJN, is set to unveil another flagship initiative with the launch of the maiden edition of the OJN Football Talent Tournament as part of activities marking this year’s OJN Annual Symposium.
The announcement was made as part of the Foundation’s commitment to youth development, sports, and community engagement across Kogi State and beyond.
According to the Foundation, the tournament is designed to discover, nurture, and support talented young footballers by giving them a platform to showcase their skills. Beyond competition, the initiative seeks to promote unity, teamwork, discipline, and healthy rivalry among youths while creating pathways to national and international exposure.
The OJN Football Talent Tournament will be executed in partnership with *Anchor Football Academy*, bringing together professional coaching, scouting, and mentorship for participating players.
The maiden edition is scheduled to hold from 24th June to 11th July, 2026 at the *Confluence Stadium, Zone 8, Lokoja, Kogi State. Football lovers and scouts are expected to witness weeks of exciting action as the next generation of stars emerge from the grassroots.
