Renowned realtor and Managing Director, Giantt Briefs Ltd, Dr Akeem Olayinka-Martins joined well-wishers at the weekend to celebrate royal father, Jegun Olu-Ekun of Ile-Oluji Kingdom, Oba Dr. Olufaderin Adetimehin as he marks 10th year coronation anniversary.
Speaking at the event last Saturday, Dr Akeem Olayinka-Martins, who is also the Executive Chairman, BO&A Engineeing described Oba Adetimehin as an astute promoter of culture for which Ile-Oluji was noted.
Olayinka-Martins said
“Kabiyesi has been actively involved in promoting the cultural values of the Kingdom since ascending the throne of his forefathers in the last ten years”.
The Paramount ruler in a statement at the occasion called on sons and daughters of the kingdom to lay more emphasis on the promotion of the rich cultural values of Ile-Oluji Kingdom.
“Every aspect of this celebration reflects the dignity, honour and the rich cultural heritage of Ile-Oluji Kingdom” Oba Adetimehin noted.
He called on the sons and daughters of the Kingdom to honor the past while building a prosperous future for the incoming generations.
“Let us remember that we are part of a rich legacy. We are the custodians of our culture, values and traditions. It is our collective responsibility to honor the past while building a prosperous future for generations to come”.
Oba Dr Adetimehin, the 31st Jegun Olu-Ekun of Ile-Oluji was an accomplished, leading figure in the insurance industry in Nigeria. An alumnous of Lagos Business school and former president, chairman of council, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria after which he answered the call of his people to ascend the throne as the Paramount ruler of Ile-Oluji Kingdom in 2016.
