… Says Citizens Contributions Will Be Rewarded

The administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Governor of Kogi State, is working assiduously to better the lives of citizens through people-centered policies, improved water supply, rural infrastructure, and social services across the 21 local government areas.

Engr. Yahaya M.D. Farouk, FNSE, Commissioner for Water Resources, Kogi State, gave the assurance when he hosted Ward D party Executive and top political office holders at his country home in Lokoja.

The Commissioner said the Ododo-led government remains committed to delivering dividends of democracy to every community, and that the loyalty, sacrifices, and contributions of party faithful toward the success of government programmes will be duly recognized and rewarded.

The Ward D Executive and political office holders were at the Commissioner’s residence primarily to thank him for his support during the just-concluded Sallah festival, and to commend Governor Ododo for his outstanding performance and the confidence reposed in the Ministry of Water Resources.

Addressing the party leaders, Engr. Farouk thanked them for their unflinching support for the government and for the roles they played in ensuring the success of the recently concluded APC primary elections.

He stressed that party unity and cohesion are critical to achieving victory for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections. He urged the Ward Executives and political office holders to close ranks, intensify grassroots mobilization, and project the achievements of the Ododo administration.

“Governor Ododo is working to better the lives of citizens of Kogi State. Your contributions will be rewarded. Let us maintain unity, avoid distractions, and work for a landslide victory for the APC,” the Commissioner charged.

He further called on them to continue enlightening the people on government projects, especially in water supply, rural roads, healthcare, and education, noting that the present administration is determined to leave no community behind.

The Ward D Executives and political office holders pledged to redouble their efforts at grassroots mobilization and to ensure that APC records a resounding victory in future elections as a show of appreciation for Governor Ododo’s developmental strides and support for the party.

Since assuming office, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has prioritized infrastructure development, access to potable water, and inclusive governance as key pillars of his administration’s agenda for Kogi State.
