No True Blood of Lokoja Will Drag The Seat of The Maigari Into Politics – Comrade Abdullahi Adamu
The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has congratulated the people of Lokoja Local Government, particularly the Traditional Council for organizing yet another befitting Sallah parade, an avenue where sons and daughters of the land converge in celebration with the Maigari of Lokoja, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi IV
While delivering his remark at the venue of Sallah Parade, the Council Chairman decried the misguided and inimical actions of some political elements. He warned against dragging the name of the Maigari of Lokoja into politics, noting that these actions are alien and shouldbe discouraged. “Anyone who disrespects His Royal Highness, disrespects God. On no condition should anyone involve the seat of our father in politics.”
He declared that the Maigari of Lokoja is the father to all, both indigenes and non-indigenes alike “Whether a resident or an indigene, our father is ready to bless whoever is willing to be blessed.”
He enjoined the people of Lokoja Local Government to continue to support traditional institutions, government and constituted authority for the betterment of the Local Government and the State. He prayed for unity, progress, prosperity and sustained peace in Lokoja Local Government Area.
