Senator Karimi Felicitates Durosinmi Meseko on 60th Birthday, Hails His Service to Kogi and Nigeria

Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has congratulated Hon. Durosinmi Meseko on his 60th birthday, describing him as a political tactician, grassroots mobilizer, and committed advocate for good governance.
In a statement released on Friday, Senator Karimi said Meseko’s six decades of life reflect dedication to public service, party building, and mentorship of younger leaders in Kogi State and beyond.
“Hon. Meseko is a man of deep conviction and unwavering loyalty to his people,” Karimi said. “At 60, he stands as a pillar of political stability in our state, and his contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress and to community development are well documented.”
The Senator noted Meseko’s role in bridging gaps between party leadership and the grassroots, as well as his consistent engagement on issues affecting ordinary citizens.
He credited Meseko with helping to strengthen political participation in Kogi West and for using his experience to counsel stakeholders within the APC.
Karimi prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for the celebrant, adding that Meseko’s wealth of experience would remain valuable as the state navigates the build-up to the 2027 general elections.
The felicitation adds to a wave of tributes from political leaders, traditional rulers, and associates celebrating Meseko’s diamond jubilee.
Meseko, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives and APC chieftain, has remained active in party affairs and in advocacy for rural development initiatives in the state.
As messages continue to pour in, leaders across the nation have described the 60th milestone as both a celebration of Meseko’s past contributions and a call to leverage his experience for the state’s future progress.
