Aliyu Tashas Picks APC Nomination Forms for Toto/Gadabuke Assembly Race
Former Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Area, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, has formally declared his intention to contest for the Toto/Gadabuke State Constituency seat in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly after obtaining the All Progressives Congress (APC) expression of interest and nomination forms.
Tashas secured the forms at the APC State Secretariat in Lafia on Monday, accompanied by party stakeholders, supporters, and chieftains from Toto and Gadabuke districts.
In a statement issued by his Media Director, Yahaya Idris Toto, the aspirant’s move signals the intensification of preparations ahead of the party’s primary elections.
Speaking with journalists shortly after picking the forms, Tashas pledged to deliver quality representation and ensure equitable distribution of resources if elected into office.
He also expressed appreciation to the people of Toto Local Government Area, particularly constituents of Toto/Gadabuke, for their continued support during and after his tenure as Executive Chairman of the council.
Tashas, who also served as Special Adviser on Conflict Resolution to the Nasarawa State Governor, reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the interests of the constituency and promoting inclusive development.
