Ododo Praises Faleke, Receives Endorsement For Re-Election
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, has praised Hon. James Faleke as a solid support to his administration.
He noted that Faleke consistently backed him before, during, and after his election, including during the electoral litigation.
Ododo made this remark when the Faleke Youth Vanguard, a prominent youth group, officially endorsed him for a second term.
He described the endorsement as typical of Faleke, a detribalized leader who prioritizes the state’s welfare.
The Governor thanked the youth for consulting Faleke before making their move, saying it shows they’re building a united APC in Kogi State. He urged everyone to work together for the state’s development.
“We must agree to work together as one family,” Ododo said. “We must sit at the table to examine our challenges and proffer joint solutions—not for personal interests, but for the overall development of our dear state.”
Ododo assured his administration will continue to serve sincerely and called on political aspirants to engage with the grassroots.
He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for supporting Kogi State, especially on infrastructure like the Lokoja-Abuja road.
Alamo Kehinde, National Coordinator of the Faleke Youth Vanguard, praised Ododo’s achievements in infrastructure, education, and security, saying he is a leader who puts Kogi State first. “We endorse Governor Ododo for a second term,” Kehinde said.
Other speakers, including Hon. Bode Adeyemi and Salihu Nana-Aisha, described Ododo as a humble and people-oriented leader, assuring him of continued support. The endorsement boosts Ododo’s re-election campaign.
