Easter: Kogi Water Resources Commissioner, Engr. Farouk Felicitates Christians, Call For Love, Peaceful Coexistence
The Kogi State Commissioner For Water Resources, Engr Yahaya MD Farouk, has enjoined Christians to embrace Easter’s message of renewal, noting the season’s significance in overcoming adversity.
The Commissioner in his message commended Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo’s transformative policies, called on citizens to promote peace and religious tolerance.
He further stressed the importance of faith and overcoming adversity during the season, said the overall theme of Easter is that of hope, fostering a peaceful, united Kogi State and encouraging citizens to live harmoniously.
He further enjoin Kogites To embrace Easter’s message Of Hope, Sacrifice And Renewal, expressed optimism that with collective will, Kogi State will soon arrive it destination and become the envy of other states in Nigeria.
The Commissioner congratulated in particular Christians in Lokoja LGA, praised them for peaceful coexistence with other adherents.
